Terms & Conditions

Seller: Shakil Dharas, trading as The Spark Parent ("we", "us"). By using this site or purchasing a course, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The Spark Parent provides self-paced digital courses, written articles, podcast content and downloadable resources for parents of neurodivergent children. Content is educational and is not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your child.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Misuse

You must not: use the service unlawfully; commit fraud or send spam; infringe our or anyone else's intellectual property; attempt to interfere with the security of the service (including malware, probing, or unauthorised scraping); or resell or redistribute course content.

4. Licence and IP

We retain ownership of the service, the courses, written materials, branding and software. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access purchased course materials for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course content.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep the service running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.

6. Payment and orders

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By placing an order you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

8. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
